TOKYO and WEST LAKE VILLAGE, Calif. -- Inphi Corporation, a high-speed analog semiconductor company, announced it will be unveiling two significant components at Fiber Optics Expo (FOE), the industry’s largest Asian optical conference. Addressing the emerging demands for next-generation 100G, Inphi has developed the Inphi 2850TA, the industry’s first OIF-compliant 100G coherent transimpedance amplifier (TIA). Inphi is also extending its robust line of 40G solutions, with the introduction of Inphi’s 2251TA, the highest sensitivity linear TIA for 40G DQPSK applications. Engineering samples are available immediately.

“The pervasive use of the internet, and subsequent evolution of cloud computing, has led carriers and data centers to scale their core networks to the next level, rapidly ramping from 10G to 40G networks and embarking on 100G solutions,” said Young K. Sohn, president and CEO of Inphi Corporation. “Inphi’s new 2850TA and 2251TA components provide crucial technologies needed by our customers to enable the build-out of 40G and 100G networks, paving the way for the continued evolution of cloud computing and improvements in bandwidth, capacity and power.”
