Description

The 2811DZ is a single-chip differential (dual drive) Mach Zehnder (MZ) modulator driver for 40G RZ DQPSK optical transmission applications. The 2811DZ requires a differential input voltage of 1.0 Vpp to deliver a differential output swing up to 7.5 Vpp. It has fast rise and fall times, low jitter, output amplitude and cross point adjusts. It is available in a compact 7X7mm ceramic LGA surface mount package, which results in significant space and cost reduction compared to metal packages with GPPO connectors.
