Inphi Announces World’s Lowest Power 10G/25G/28G Quad NRZ Clock and Data Recovery Retimer for Module Applications

Enabling Modules with Different Form Factors to Achieve Lowest Power in the Industry

SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 22, 2016 – Inphi Corporation (NYSE: IPHI), a leading provider of high-speed, mixed signal semiconductor solutions for the communications, computing and data center markets, today announced the production availability of the industry’s lowest power Clock and Data Recovery (CDR) Retimer for module applications. Inphi’s IN012525-CQ CMOS CDR is a quad retimer IC designed for multi rate operation of 10G/25G/28G speeds.

Designed for modules, Inphi’s low power CDR retimer IC delivers the industry’s most aggressive performance metrics on mW/Gbps with a total power of only 370mW. The CDR Retimer IC supports continuously self-adapting receivers on all its interfaces. This combination makes the IN012525-CQ CDR IC ideally suited for high density CFP2 / CFP4 / QSFP28 module applications.

  • • Support for 100G BASE-LR4/ER4 and OTU4 applications
  • • Programmable transmit and adaptive receive equalization on all SerDes interfaces with fine granularity and control, which allows channel loss of up to 15-db at 14Ghz Nyquist
  • • Self-test modes that allow diagnostic monitoring of channel and system parameters
  • • Inphi’s iSCAN™ GUI and Link Analysis Toolkit for eye-scan and monitor on all SerDes receiver interfaces for link margin and stress testing
  • • Protocol based receiver signal strength indicators for robust link health diagnosis
  • • Available in dual package footprint in 10x10mm and 6x6mm
